on listening to your Mother

I had another one of those experiences where I found myself frustrated…

with my Mom.

I knew I should not be,

I was.

I just want to be nice to her,

unlike any other soul on the earth, she knows the speed-dial-sequence for my anger-zone.

It’s hard because after all these years ya’d think she’d KNOW me,

she doesn’t.

I really only feel like God knows me,

that makes sense doesn’t it = He MADE me.

Psalm 139.

The Creator.

This verse helped me,

helped me to repent

for being frustrated with Mom.

She did teach me the value of going to church – of serving others – of being generous – of praying – of seeking God’s will…

she taught me eternal things. For that, I am FOREVER grateful:

“[ Continue to Live in Christ ] As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so continue to live in him. Keep your roots deep in him and have your lives built on him. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always be thankful.”
Colossians 2:6-7 NCV

Seek Him and find Him.
