even these are ‘step-by-step’ from God. Earlier this month, I thought I had finished framing photos. I had a stack that I had started on the last break from work. Yesterday, I found more photos and more frames…argh!
How cool is God? Well, not only did EVERYTHING that I want framed out of the pictures I had, BUT everything found the RIGHT frame too! God is soooo cool. Project done in the length of time it takes to listen to a music CD. That’s MY God!
I think I finally got it this morning why some are soooooo into their kitchen tools.
Usually I like to do everything old-school… I enjoy mixing stuff by hand,
morning oats are best with a weebit of peanut butter mixed in otherwise I’m hungry again for a 2nd breakfast before lunchtime.
Monday while on a road trip, I picked up organic peanut butter from an Amish grocery store… it needed mixin’… I wasn’t succeeding by hand, so out came the mixer, I planned on baking some bread anywho, so it will not be gotten dirty for no-good-reason.
the internet… the Cloud as it is now called… I prefer ‘out-there’… the net is NOT one of God’s beautiful clouds.
It’s an everyday tool.
I do not want to do all my paperwork/banking/shopping on it. I see it as FUN, not work… and I would like to leave it that way.
Had one last night …
I was at Shaw’s garden, again for like the 5th time this summer…
usually I like ‘new’ things, new experiences, new people… etc.
So, why do I keep going to Shaw’s???
The flowers/plants are different everytime I go.
Since I go with a different person almost every time, well, new gardens/places/stuff is discovered on every trip… as well as new angles/new lighting, etc. for the camera!
I love it when you get clarity about yourself… and the why behind things!
I’ve been going a lot to the Jewel Box too… take someone different everytime there too, but that’s mainly so I can share something that’s cool – and – free (Mondays & Tuesdays, 9am-noon).
This isn’t a rule of thumb for everything as I go to the History Museum monthly during the school year to listen to DIFFERENT lectures from the archaeological society speakers…
trips to the Science Center, hello, I love science!
I’m just glad to figure myself out… all by myself!!!
So I noticed that since springtime I have taken a LOT of photos of bugs on my flowers,
this one has to be a favorite because the preying mantis acted like a kid, curious…actually stopped, turned it’s head…watched me take several photos of it, turn around and come back JUST to check me out… very cool. When I shared the story with my bro, he shared an experience he had road-side with a VERY LARGE preying mantis… I’m glad mine was only about a ¼ to ½ inch long. Amazing head, arms, feet… very cool bug indeed! God shure is creative!!!
This morning I was kissed by a horse.
got to watch it from 700 feet… from the top of a water tower on South Grand:
See Facebook album: Compton Water Tower for more photos of that day!
Quite a climb.
When you make it to the top, the wind from the open windows will refresh you!
