Song of Solomon 2:7 (New International Version)
Daughters of Jerusalem,
I charge you by the gazelles
and by the does of the field:
Do not arouse
until it so desires.
awaken = cause to become awake or conscious, make aware, to start (a feeling of interest, guilt etc)
arouse = to stir to action or strong response; excite, to stimulate sexually, to awake or become aroused, call forth (emotions, feelings, and responses); summon into action or bring into existence, to begin moving,

desires = To wish or long for; want, To express a wish for; request

charge = to lay a command or injunction upon.
to put a load or burden on or in.
a duty or responsibility laid upon or entrusted to one.
To impose a duty, responsibility, or obligation on.
gazelles = noted for graceful movements and lustrous eyes, characteristically having a slender neck
does = the female of the deer, antelope, goat, rabbit, and certain other animals.
My guess…he related to these two animals because they were the female versions.
I bet studying the Hebrew meaning of the words would bring even more clarity,
but I have not gotten into that yet.
